About Australian Kite Surfari

Australian Kite Surfari was established to provide experienced kite surfers with the ultimate adventure.

Remote Adventures height=Departing from Cairns, northern beaches, Port Douglas or Mossman, between April and November, the four day / three night Surfari will take you to an isolated beach at Cape Flattery, about 1.5 hours north of Cooktown.

Once there, the beach is yours! Australian Kite Surfari is the only operator to have special permission to use this beach, which is located on traditional Aboriginal lands.

There is no set itinerary and experienced guides are on-hand to provide local knowledge and expertise on the area, the wind, the flora and the fauna.

Ant Hadleigh, your Australian Kite Surfari host, has been coming to this area for over 20 years. He knows the coastal creeks, the tides, the wind and where to find the best freshwater coastal springs, right on the beach.

Your Australian Kite Surfari has been planned down to the last detail: all you have to do is bring your kite, your clothes and a sense of adventure. Ant will take care of the driving, the accommodation, the food, the drinks, the camp and the planning.
